Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. The role requires recent unit-specific L&D experience and Epic EMR familiarity. NC or compact license is mandatory, with 12 months of L&D in the last year and a clean background per client policy.

The RN will work 12-hour night shifts (1900-0700), 36 hours weekly, with alternating weekends. Travel experience and commitment to holiday coverage are expected; a reference from a supervisor is required.

Qualifications

• Active NC or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 12 months of core Labor & Delivery experience, with most recent experience within the last year
• Epic EMR experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule (1900-0700), 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• No floating required
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the position
• Returning travelers must have been separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year following a permanent position
