American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a community hospital on a night shift requiring an OH or compact license and at least 2 years of recent L&D experience. The role includes 3x12-hour night shifts and potential travel to additional campuses within the health system.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Two recent supervisory references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting within the Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Must be willing to float to two additional campuses within the health system as needed
• On-call responsibilities require arrival at the hospital within 1 hour when called in
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Provide nursing care within a smoke-free hospital and campus environment
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules through HealthStream prior to start
• Facility does not accept time off requests for major holidays
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before reapplying for a travel position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
