Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility

Participate in ongoing professional development and cerebrovascular stroke training
Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, radiation and emotionally challenging patient situations should be expected

Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Mother Baby/Labor & Delivery position requiring MT or compact RN licensure, NRP, BLS, and STABLE certifications with at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Full-time, 0.9 FTE Night Shift position in a Mother Baby/Labor & Delivery unit
13-week contract assignment
Facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances
Must be able to catch/transition newborns and act as Charge Nurse when needed
Must be willing to float to other departments as a safety companion
L&D experience including antepartum, intrapartum, preop, circulate, and PACU preferred
Schedule may require working beyond a standard workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
On-call availability may be required

Candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
