Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an RN for Labor & Delivery at Woman's Hospital of Texas in Houston, TX. The role covers 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts on a high-acuity unit with 35 beds and a multidisciplinary team of about 160 staff members.

Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification. Preferred: Cesarean section OR circulation, FSE, and IUPC experience.

Qualifications

• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.
• NRP certification is required.

About the Unit

The Labor & Delivery Unit at Woman's Hospital of Texas is a high-acuity, fast-paced obstetrical service dedicated to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. The department features 35 beds and is supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team of approximately 160 staff members.

Patient Ratios

• Laboring Patients: 1:1 to 2:1

• Antepartum Unit (APU): 2:1

• PACU Recovery: 2:1
