TalentBurst is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for an Anchorage, AK assignment. This on-site role requires AK RN license, charge nurse experience, and relevant certifications.

You will manage high‑risk deliveries, supervise staff, and ensure patient safety within obstetric units. The position includes 60 hours every two weeks, 13 or 26 week blocks, night shifts 12 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of labor and delivery experience
• Charge Nurse experience preferred or willing to train
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP
• Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights; 60 Hours per 2 weeks

Responsibilities

• Attend high-risk deliveries and assist with vaginal deliveries
• Circulate for C-section and recover C-section
• Scrub for C-section and sterile vaginal exams
• Provide newborn care and resuscitation support as needed
• Support antepartum and postpartum care activities
• Ensure patient safety and assist with maternal-fetal assessments

*Must have Charge Nurse experience for this role. This position can expect to regularly work in the Charge Nurse position
Must have AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer.
Assignment Length - 13 or 26 Weeks

RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. All RTO must be included in submittal
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

7-14 LD/Antepartum
High Risk LD unit. 10 OB Triage Room, 10 LDR Room, 3 OR suites, 4 PACU room. Average Daily Deliveries around 7 but often have up to 14 patients with inductions and high risk antepartum. OB Triage averages 4-5 third trimester testing patients as well as an influx of triage patients each day
