Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments to support underserved communities. Join a team delivering high-quality patient care across care continuum.

This opportunity features competitive weekly pay with stipends, Sanford benefits, and 14-week contracts with potential extensions or site transfers. Residence within 60 miles of assigned facility preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel experience.
• Residence at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
• Obtaining and maintaining necessary competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process - assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver personalized patient care.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Providing care across all phases of prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Coordinating patient assessments, education, triage, and nursing interventions while adhering to scope and standards of practice.
• Practicing within the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act and professional ethics.
