Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in the United States. The role requires an active TN or compact RN license, at least 2 years of ICU experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

You will work 12-hour night shifts on a 21-bed ICU and rotate to other units as needed using Cerner EMR. Local candidates within 75 miles may receive a lower pay rate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Active TN or compact RN license required on file at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required

Responsibilities

• Care for a 21-bed ICU patient population.
• Work 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.
• Provide care for ARDS, pneumonia, withdrawal, cardiogenic shock.
• Floating to Stepdown/ER as needed.
• Schedule created by the unit; weekend shifts required.
• Cerner EMR documentation.
• Navy scrubs required.
• Orientation on 11/30, 12/7, or 12/14.
• Local candidates accepted; within 75 miles may have lower pay rate.

Responsibilities

• 21-bed ICU unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1-2
• Patient population 18+ with conditions including ARDS/Pneumonia, Withdrawal, and Cardiogenic Shock
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Unit creates the schedule
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to Stepdown/ER as needed
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be available for orientation on 11/30, 12/7, or 12/14
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 designated holidays
• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a lower pay rate
