American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Arizona. Eligible candidates must hold an active AZ or compact RN license and have at least 3 years of critical care experience.

The role involves caring for critically ill patients in a 5-bed ICU, with periodic float to ED/Med-Surg/Peds during low census, and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Orientation occurs every two weeks; travel housing options may be available.

Formación

• Active AZ or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years ICU experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• PALS, TCAR and NIHSS must be completed within 6 months of hire if not already held.
• SSN required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients following physician orders and facility policies.
• Work independently to complete patient care assignments across varying conditions and treatments.
• 5-bed ICU setting with care for critically ill patients of all ages.
• Periodic floating to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds during low census periods.
• Provide after-hours recovery care for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed.
• All shifts available; 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours.
• Orientation occurs every two weeks.
• Facility is JCAHO accredited and serves Navajo and Hopi Reservations.
• Shared contractor housing may be available but not guaranteed; apply 2 weeks prior to start; no pets or family.
• Fingerprinting as part of compliance; vaccine exemptions may be accepted with declination form.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

• Shared contractor housing may be available but is not guaranteed and requires an application at least 2 weeks prior to start, with no pets or family permitted
• Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start as part of the compliance process
• COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a signed declination form
