Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an RN for an ICU travel assignment in south central Kentucky. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and AHA certifications including BLS and NIHSS.

Active KY or compact RN license and Nursys verification are required. Shift is days 6:30 AM–7:00 PM on a 13-week assignment with 4:1 patient ratio (4 patients per day RN) and 5:1 at night. May float within 25 miles.

• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys license verification required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 295-bed ICU with neuro specialty focus
• Manage day shifts 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Adhere to 13-week assignment with every other weekend
• Maintain patient ratios 4:1 days and 5:1 nights
• May float within 25 miles of the facility
• Utilize Meditech EHR system
• Support hospital's cardiac care and neurosurgery program
• Serves an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Weekly orientation on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from facility for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint facilities in past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time

Responsibilities

• 295-bed acute care hospital setting in the ICU department
• Neuro specialty focus within the ICU
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment with every other weekend required
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Hospital provides cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Serves an 11-county region in south central Kentucky
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
