American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for a MS/ICU float position in Oregon. The role requires at least one year of critical care experience and Epic proficiency.

You will work night shifts (3x12s) with telemetry, weekend rotations, and the ability to float within the site and across the health system.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEARS, and NIHSS.
• Epic EMR experience with Epic Test-Out Module.
• One professional reference from Charge Nurse/Supervisor/Manager (within last year).
• No felony convictions accepted.

Responsabilités

• MS/ICU unit with MS as primary, float to ICU as needed.
• Night shift: 3x12 hour shifts, 18:30–07:00.
• Telemetry work setting.
• Weekend rotation every third weekend.
• Floating within site and across the health system.
• Willing to work Thanksgiving and another holiday.
• Education to be completed within one week of starting.
• Possible contract cancellation for not floating.
• RTO max 7 days; no RTO in first 2 weeks.
• Submit all RTO requests at time of application.
• Former staff must be separated for 1 year before returning as traveler.
• Local travelers not accepted; 50 miles residency rule.
• First-time travelers not considered.

• Epic EMR experience required, including completion of an Epic Test-Out Module
• One professional reference required from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager, preferably within the last year
• No felony convictions accepted

Responsibilities

• MS/ICU unit with MS as the primary assignment and floating to ICU as needed
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Telemetry work setting
• Weekend rotation required every third weekend
• Floating within the site and across the health system is required
• Must be willing and able to work Thanksgiving and one additional holiday, including holiday eves
• Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Required to complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
• Subject to low census mandatory cancellation policy, including possible cancellation of one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Former staff must be separated from the facility or system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local travelers are not accepted and candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the health system
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
