Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with Step-Down experience for a 13-week contract requiring an OH or compact RN license. You will work in the ICU of a hospital, rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend, floating as needed.

Active OH/Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and AHA/RQI certifications are required. First-time travelers welcome; travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (OH or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required before start.
• AHA certifications required; RQI accepted.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience required.
• Step-Down experience required for floating.
• Two recent professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Rotating day (7:00-19:00) and night (19:00-7:00) shifts on a 3x12 schedule, alternating weekly between days and nights.
• Every other weekend required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Will float to ICU/Step-Down unit as needed.
• AllScripts charting experience preferred.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel assignment.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Block scheduling may be discussed during the interview process.
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application.
