Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night assignment on an acuity adaptable Telemetry Unit in Wisconsin. Candidates must have an active WI or compact RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and at least 2 years ICU experience.

The role includes 19:00–07:30 shifts, every other weekend/holiday, and potential nearby-site floats within 40 miles. Travel nurses are welcome to apply with local rate considerations.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for ICU/IMC and Med/Surg patients on an acuity adaptable Telemetry Unit.
• Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Occasional float to sites within 40 miles as needed.
• May float within skill set and to other units.

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (under 1/4 inch)

Responsibilities

• Acuity adaptable Telemetry Unit caring for ICU/IMC and Med/Surg patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Care for a mix of ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg patients within an acuity adaptable unit model
• Radius rule applies; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
