Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in California. Active CA RN license and recent ICU experience are required, with BLS/ACLS certifications and BSN preferred. NIHSS/CCRNs are a plus, dialysis/SLED experience welcomed.

The role involves 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM), 36 hours weekly, and charting in Epic EMR. Housing and travel assistance may be provided; local candidates are eligible at the same rate as travel candidates.

Qualifications

• CA RN license active at consideration time.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year ICU experience in last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN or related degree preferred.
• NIHSS/CCRN certifications preferred.
• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Total 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• Use Epic EMR for charting and orders.
• Local candidates accepted at travel rate.
