Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical ICU position in Tulare, CA, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of three years of ICU experience.

The role features day shifts 07:00 AM–07:30 PM, with benefits and travel-related perks. Local candidates are accepted at traveler pay rates; adverse licensure actions are not accepted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical ICU 1 unit of an acute care hospital.
• Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM.
• Deliver coordinated nursing care following established standards and nursing process.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities.
• Develop and implement care plans to coordinate care delivery and outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and providers to ensure safe, humane care.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
• Coordinate duties among healthcare team members.

• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred

• Work in the Medical ICU 1 unit of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care priorities
• Develop and implement care plans, coordinating care delivery to achieve desired outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
