Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidate will hold a CA RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications, with ICU experience within the last three years.

The role includes 12-hour nights, EPIC EMR usage, and a travel-style assignment with housing and benefits provided. Local candidates are considered at the same rate as travel nurses.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
• 2+ years ICU experience preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
• Licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Licenses and certifications must be active at the time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted
