American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position at a Level III Trauma teaching hospital. Requires an active NC or Compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, plus BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and an Advanced EKG exam before start.

Epic charting experience is required. Candidates must pass pre-start compliance modules and meet facility policies on RTO and benefits. This position involves a 3x12 night schedule, with every other weekend and no on-call duties.

Responsabilidades

• ICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope to sister campus as needed
• Epic EMR used
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• RTO restrictions as per policy
• Holiday RTO limits as stated
• Candidates living within 50 miles of main campus are ineligible
• Former employees must be separated for at least one year
• Contract extensions limited with required breaks
• System-wide contract limits
• First-time travelers at manager's discretion
• Pre-start compliance modules required (4-10 hours)

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass Advanced EKG exam prior to start, no exceptions
• Epic charting experience required
• No background or license actions within the past 12 months
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Holiday RTO limited to one major holiday request
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible for this position
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Contract extensions limited to one for day shift or two for night shift, followed by a required 6-month break before reapplying
• System-wide limit of 2 contracts before requiring a 6-month break
• First-time travelers considered at manager's discretion based on experience level
• Pre-start compliance modules required, estimated 4-10 hours to complete
