American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intensive Care Coronary Unit position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and NIHSS certification.
- Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
- No on-call requirements
- Epic EMR used for charting
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Active RN license (CO state or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU/coronary care nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Physical ability to perform direct patient care duties
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
- Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least two weeks
- Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
