American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intensive Care Coronary Unit position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and NIHSS certification.

Details
  • Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
  • No on-call requirements
  • Epic EMR used for charting
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
Requirements
  • Active RN license (CO state or Compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications must not expire prior to start)
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU/coronary care nursing experience required
  • ASN required, BSN preferred
  • Physical ability to perform direct patient care duties
Additional Information
  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
  • Background check and drug screening required, with results typically taking at least two weeks
  • Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
