Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position at Magnet Hospital in Denver, CO. The role requires CO or compact RN license and hands-on GI equipment skills. Assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week on a Days, 4x9hrs schedule, starting ASAP.
Candidate must have BLS/ACLS, ASN or Nursing Diploma, and GI/Endoscopy experience with Epic EMR proficiency. Includes call rotations and potential units floating based on patient care needs.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (CO) required.
- Compact license holders must transfer to CO within 60 days of start.
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required, not expiring prior to start.
- ASN or Nursing Diploma required.
- Minimum 1 year GI/Endoscopy experience required.
- Experience performing GI equipment procedures.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Endoscopy Lab of a hospital setting.
- Care for patients undergoing endoscopic and/or invasive procedures with or without sedation.
- Second call rotation every five weeks covering Sat/Sun 0700-0700.
- First call rotation every five weeks from Friday night to Friday morning 1630-0700.
- Floating to other Peri Operative and nursing units may be required.

- Collaborate with pre-operative RNs to assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique compliance within the surgical team
- Provide patient and family education, support, and comfort throughout procedures
- Document equipment use and supply consumption for charging and inventory purposes
- Serve as a resource to students and new caregivers, contributing to quality improvement initiatives
- Previous permanent Intermountain employees must be separated from the health system for at least one year to be eligible
