  • Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and documentation via EMR or paper records
  • Provides patient and family education based on identified learning needs
  • Adheres to safety and infection control standards
  • Works with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Details
  • Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital environment
  • Facility may cancel up to two shifts per month or up to six shifts within the 13-week assignment at no cost
Requirements
  • Active WA state or compact RN license required
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required
  • BLS (HCP level, AHA or equivalent) required within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
  • PALS certification required within 12 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
  • TNCC certification required within 12 months of hire, renewed every 4 years
  • PEARS certification required within 12 months of hire, renewed every 2 years
  • Moderate sedation training required within 12 months of hire and annually thereafter
  • Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
  • RN-C certification preferred
Additional Information
