- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- ASN required, BSN preferred.
- Experience assisting with intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line care.
- Experience with ventilated patients for early mobility.
- Epic EMR charting experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ICU patients including assessment, care planning, and interventions.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to nursing assistants and health care technicians.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure best patient outcomes.
- Use hourly rounding and bedside reporting to communicate with patients and families.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and report changes to the Nurse Manager.

- Work in the Acute Care/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
- Care for critically ill patients receiving multidisciplinary therapies
- Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- 40 hours per week across 5 shifts of 8 hours each
- Weekend and holiday shifts required as needed
- Floating required as needed
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred

- Apply critical thinking and nursing judgment to identify and respond to changes in patient condition
- Report to Nurse Manager and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of care provided
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days within the 13-week contract
