Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a rotating shift position requiring cardiovascular ICU experience and MN licensure.
Rotating 12-hour shifts and 36 hours/week with no on-call responsibilities; may float to other ICUs or Med/Surg units. MN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and Epic EMR experience are required.

- Adult and geriatric population experience required
- Experience with open heart surgery patients preferred
- Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
- Skills checklist current within 1 year
- Two supervisory references with employment dates required

- Develop and revise patient care plans and coordinate care across disciplines
- Participate in shared decision-making and continuous improvement of nursing practice standards

- ICU Cardiovascular unit within a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
- No on-call responsibilities
- May be required to float to other ICUs (TNICU, MICU) or Med/Surg units when needed
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active MN RN license required
- Compact license not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Adult and geriatric population experience required
- Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
- Experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred

- Strict compliance deadline of 4pm the Wednesday before start date, with no exceptions

- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application, as later requests may not be honored
