Job summary
American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment in Florence, SC. Requires SC or compact RN license and at least 2 years ICU/stepdown experience. Work 12-bed ICU, nights 7p-7a, with weekend rotation and no on-call duties.
You'll float within scope as needed and use Epic charting. BLS and ACLS are required; NIHSS preferred. Driver's license and SSN are required for consideration.

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring SC or compact RN license and 2 years of ICU/stepdown experience.
- Work in a 12-bed ICU within a hospital setting
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a, with holiday rotation
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, with agency staff floated first
- Epic charting system used (experience preferred)
- Active SC RN license or compact license required in hand prior to start
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU and/or stepdown experience required
- Driver's license and SSN required for consideration
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients including cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and renal cases
- Skills such as arterial line management, ventilator care, central/PICC line management, and blood product administration are utilized
- Free parking available
- First-time travelers considered if they have prior ICU and/or stepdown experience
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- Block scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront and is subject to facility approval
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
