American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an LTACH ICU/CCU night shift position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and neuro experience.

Details

• LTACH CCU/ICU unit setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with 36 or 48 hour weekly options
• 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday schedule
• 13 to 26 week assignment options
• Weekend coverage supported through a rotating on-call system among 6-8 staff members
• On-call responsibilities after 5pm daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call staff
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-verified areas
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• LTAC experience preferred
• 1+ year of recent experience in the unit required for consideration
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Experience with critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV titration, and cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to complex ICU/CCU patients in an LTACH setting
• Orientation held every Monday, with annual compliance training required
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required for all travelers, to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Travelers must maintain skills across a broad range of clinical areas including respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, and neurological care
• First-time travelers may be considered based on experience level
• Radius requirement: candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any Prisma Health facility to be eligible for travel assignments system-wide
