Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an ICU RN for a night shift contract in Connecticut. The ideal candidate has at least two years in ICU and demonstrates proficiency with the Epic EMR system to support critical care delivery.

This assignment covers 12-hour nights, up to 36 hours per week, with weekend and major holiday coverage as part of staffing rotations; travel and licensure reimbursements are provided, along with housing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (CT or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• COVID vaccination or exemption accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Every third weekend required (Fri/Sat).
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays.
• May be required to work additional hours as part of a staffing rotation pool.
• May be floated or reassigned within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility, within clinical competence.
• Uses Epic EMR and provides direct patient care to ICU patients.

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and telemetry certification
• COVID vaccination or medical/religious exemption accepted

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every third weekend required (Fri/Sat)
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays
• May be required to work additional hours as part of a staffing rotation pool
• May be floated or reassigned to a different unit or facility within 30 miles of the originally assigned facility, within clinical competence
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients
• Accepts local candidates within 75 miles at local rate
• Radius rate available for candidates outside local radius
