Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Night Shift ICU RN with 2+ years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency for a Level III Trauma teaching hospital.

Responsibilities include nightly ICU care with 1:2-3 staffing, floating as needed, and use of Epic EMR. Requires NC or Compact RN license and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications, plus proficiency in complex IV therapies and dysrhythmia interpretation.

Qualifications

Active NC or Compact RN license required.
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Epic EMR experience required.
Must pass Advanced EKG exam prior to start.
No background or license actions within the past 12 months.
Skills include IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central and PICC line care, ventilated patient management.
Experience with cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG acquisition.
Experience with IV insulin protocols and continuous IV sedation/paralytics required.

Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, with one major holiday request allowed
Extension policy allows one extension on day shift or two on night shift, followed by a required 6-month break before reapplying
First-time travelers considered at manager's discretion based on experience level
