Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a weekend-only Night Shift RN for a Medical ICU position requiring Epic experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, weekend coverage (Fri-Sun) with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Navy blue scrubs required; strict attendance rules apply. Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible, including Albany area counties.

Qualifications

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration.
• 2 years ICU experience required.
• AHA or RQI certifications required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Competency test within 24 hours of consideration.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months.
• US SSN required; Canadian SIN not accepted.
• Medical exemption (signed by licensed professional) required for flu declination.

Responsibilities

• Medical ICU/Adult STAT RN unit.
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Weekend-only schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Every other weekend required.
• Rotating holiday coverage.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• No blocked scheduling permitted.
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks.
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration.
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible, including those in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties.
