Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a GA or compact license and prior ICU experience.

Responsibilities include 3x12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week, with a 30-minute meal break and no on-call duties. NIHSS certification is required, and residence must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

Qualifications

• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience with PA lines, ICP monitoring, IABP, and CRRT is preferred but not required.

• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a critical care ICU environment
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
