American Traveler, LLC is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment in Missouri. The role requires Level 1 trauma center ICU experience and MO or Compact licensure, with MO licensure in hand.

You will deliver critical care in a high-acuity unit, managing complex cardiac/neurological conditions, with Meditech EMR experience preferred and housing/licensure reimbursements available. The schedule runs 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, every other weekend, no on-call duties.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license MO or Compact in hand at time of consideration.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience, with Level 1 Trauma Center ICU exposure.
• Experience with Impella and balloon pumps is required.
• Must be able to manage complex cardiac/neurological cases.

Aufgaben

• Provide critical care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit.
• Work a 13-week day shift schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3x12.
• Occasional weekend shifts; no call obligations; floating between ICU and Tele.
• Utilize Meditech EMR to document patient care.
• Support high-acuity patients including renal, respiratory, neuro and cardiac cases.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring Level 1 trauma center ICU experience and MO or compact licensure.

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• ICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center required for first-time travelers
• Experience with Impella and balloon pump required
• Skilled in stroke care and STEMI care
• Proficient in ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and arterial line management
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Experience managing CVA/acute stroke patients and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Two professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Medical Intensive Care Unit setting
• 13-week assignment with 3x12 day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Required to work every other weekend, with flexibility for more weekend shifts if desired
• No call requirements
• Floating required between ICU and Tele units
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required for this unit
• Provide critical care nursing in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Manage complex cases including renal, respiratory, neurological, and cardiac conditions
• First-time travelers welcome if they meet the 2-year Level 1 ICU experience requirement
