Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Surgical ICU travel assignment in Maryland, requiring 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience and an MD or Compact RN license. The role is in a 20-bed adult ICU within the Department of Surgery, with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and opportunities to float as needed.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required.
• Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience.
• Experience in a 500+ bed facility preferred.
• Critical Care Certification, ACLS, and EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within the Department of Surgery.
• Provide critical care nursing to ICU and post-surgical ICU patients.
• Diverse patient population including trauma, GI surgery, Ortho/Neuro Spine, transplant, vascular, Surgical ENT, and General Surgery patients.
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Float as needed to areas of like skill set.
• Orientation occurs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
