American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI Lab position requiring Level I Trauma experience and at least one prior travel assignment. The role is based in a GI Lab within a Level I Trauma Center, with day shifts, on-call and occasional holidays.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, 2+ years of nursing experience (3+ preferred), BSN/ADN accepted, and a prior travel assignment. Cerner EMR experience is a plus, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Formación

• Active RN license (State or NLC Compact) with no pending licensure accepted.
• BSN or ADN accepted for this position.
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• Level I Trauma Center experience required.
• Large hospital experience preferred.
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Vaccination status required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Work in the GI Lab of a Level I Trauma Center, short term acute care hospital.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday (0630-1500).
• On-call and weekend shifts required as needed.
• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Provide nursing care within the GI Lab setting.
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all fall during the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 if only two occur.
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered.
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration, as late requests will not be honored.
