American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Endoscopy RN for a Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM. Pre-, intra-, and post-procedure GI care will be provided in a 7-bed unit with a 1:2 nurse-patient ratio.

Required are NM or Compact RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years GI/endoscopy nursing experience. Intraprocedural skills and a variety of procedures (EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP) are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license NM or Compact.
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum 3 years GI/Endoscopy nursing experience.
• Intraprocedural technical experience.
• Procedural Tech experience.
• RN degree required.
• Must demonstrate GI procedural skills including biopsy, dilatation, variceal banding, therapeutic injection, foreign body retrieval, clip application, snare technique, and ERCP-related procedures.

Responsabilités

• Work in the Main Endoscopy unit of a Level III trauma center.
• Specialty is Gastroenterology covering pre, intra, and post procedure care.
• 7-bed unit with adult mid-to-high acuity patient population.
• Patient ratio of 1:2.
• Common procedures include Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy.
• Uses Olympus equipment and Cerner EMR.
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• On-call responsibilities for weekends and evenings.
• Possible float to PreOp if Endoscopy case volume is low.
• Provide direct patient care across pre, intra, and post GI procedure phases.
• Assist proactively with team members in various procedural roles.
• Troubleshoot equipment and supplies as needed.
• Work within a facility recognized for accreditation in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services.
• Facility is located in Farmington, New Mexico, in the Four Corners region near outdoor recreation and national parks.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Endoscopy position requiring NM or compact licensure and strong intraprocedural GI technical skills.

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
• Intraprocedural technical experience required
• Procedural Tech experience required
• RN degree required
• Must demonstrate critical GI procedural skills including biopsy, dilatation, variceal banding, therapeutic injection, foreign body retrieval, clip application, snare technique, and ERCP-related procedures (cannulization, duct dilation, lithotripsy, stent placement, sphincterotomy, balloon sweep, basket retrieval, contrast injection)
• Must demonstrate endoscopic hemostat and argon plasma coagulation skills
• Experience with Minnesota tube management required
