Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for an Endoscopy unit with GI and Pulmonology endoscopy experience or solid PACU background. TX or compact RN license is required.

Hospital-based role with 4 procedure rooms; day shift 6:45 AM–3:30 PM, on-call nights/weekends, 1:1 care for procedures and 1:2 in PACU, Meditech EMR, and a generous housing allowance and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1 year of recent Endoscopy experience (GI and Pulmonology) or solid PACU background
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required
• One professional reference required

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit with 4 procedure rooms
• Day shift staffing: 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 Endo Techs; night shift on-call with 1 RN and 1 Tech
• Patient ratios 1:1 for procedures and 1:2 in PACU
• Performs EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, ION Robot bronch, EGD with ultrasound
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Shift runs 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Floating required to PACU and Pre-op
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality preferred
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility; no local candidates
• First-time travelers may be considered if meet experience requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required

• 1 year of recent experience in Endoscopy required, including both GI and Pulmonology procedures
• Candidates without Endoscopy experience must have solid PACU experience
• PACU experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required
