Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role, requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency. The assignment includes a 13-week length, mid-shift 3p-3a rotation, and on-call duties.

Traveler must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility and hold a VA RN license or Compact, with required certifications valid at start. Benefits include high pay with bonuses, day-1 insurance options, 401(k), housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements,

Qualifications

• Active VA RN license or Compact required.
• Minimum 2 years ER experience.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment.
• US SSN required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 495-bed hospital's Emergency Room.
• Mid-shift schedule of 3p-3a on a 3x12 rotation.
• Every other weekend and holiday required.
• On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule.
• No floating required.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Deliver emergency nursing care across a range of patient presentations.
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy.
• Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this travel assignment.
