Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment at Porter Hospital, Indiana. 30-bed ED, shift Mids 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, patient ratio 1:4, travel required.

Must have 1 year ED experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS, Cerner EMR, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Travelers must live more than 50 miles away; local candidates will not be accepted.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident ER nurse seeking a 13-week travel assignment with no on-call requirements and a competitive.

Specialty: Emergency Department / ER

Unit Size: 30 beds

Typical Patient Ratio: 1:4

Shift: Mids - 3:00 PM-3:00 AM

RTO: Maximum of 1 week

RTO Blackout Dates: None

Required Holidays: None

Scrub Color: Navy

Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care.

Perform patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.

Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.

Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition promptly.

Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapidly changing patient needs.

Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up care.

Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Cerner.

Float to other areas as required by facility needs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience

BLS ,ACLS ,PALS OR ENPC - Required

NIHSS - Required

Cerner EMR experience

Strong emergency nursing assessment and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
