American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications for a combined adult/pediatric emergency department position.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand.
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC.
  • PALS preferred certification.
  • 1+ year of experience in the specialty required.
  • Skilled in triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias.
  • Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central line care/management.
  • Experience caring for ventilated patients.
  • Skilled in procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
  • Experience treating pediatric and adult emergency conditions including asthma, seizures, burns, head injury, and respiratory infections
  • Experience with orthopedic and ortho trauma care
  • Experience with neurological conditions including spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury
  • References required for consideration

Description

  • Night shift (3x12 hours, 17:45-6:15) and Day shift (3x12 hours, 6:15-17:45) schedules available
  • No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
Requirements

Additional Information
  • Provide emergency care across a wide range of adult and pediatric conditions including abdominal pain, poisoning, mental/behavioral health conditions, and infections
  • Responsible for identifying and reporting neglect or abuse
  • Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
  • Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
  • Local candidates within the radius are not accepted for this position
  • Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before eligibility
  • License or background check hits considered on a case-by-case basis
  • First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
  • Located in Montana's Big Sky/Yellowstone Country region near skiing
