American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Oregon. Active Oregon RN license and ACLS/BLS are required, with a minimum of three years ER experience.

This 13-week contract features night shifts 7:00 PM–7:00 AM at a critical access medical center. No adverse license actions; BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred; vaccinations required with exemptions available.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access medical center
• Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Deliver coordinated nursing care following nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients and families to maintain a safe, healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate duties and coordinate healthcare team responsibilities
• Receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment with exemptions available
• No radius restriction; local candidates receive same pay as travelers
• Candidates with >5 days time off will not be considered
• Submit to Adventist Health system at most one facility at a time

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a critical access medical center
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to maintain a safe, healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Appropriately delegate duties and coordinate healthcare team responsibilities
• Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• No radius restriction applies, and local candidates receive the same pay rate as travelers
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates can only be submitted to one facility within the Adventist Health system at a time
