Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for night shifts in Thomasville, GA. The role requires Level III trauma experience and travel nursing background. You will work in a 24-bed ED with Level III trauma, using PICIS and Soarian EMR systems.

Requirements include GA or Compact RN license, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/TNCC/PALS certifications, minimum 3 years ED experience, and prior travel nursing. Housing allowances and per diem are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS.
• Minimum 3 years of recent ED experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Skilled in ventilator management, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management.
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Must provide driver's license copy to verify residence for radius-based eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care across a range of acute and critical patient presentations.
• Operate in a 24-bed ER unit with a Level III Trauma Center.
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM).
• Some weekend and holiday shifts required.
• Utilize PICIS and Soarian EMR systems for charting and orders.
• Ensure patient safety and timely interventions during high-acuity events.

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS
• Minimum 3 years of recent ED experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Skilled in ventilator management, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Must provide driver's license copy to verify residence for radius-based eligibility

Responsibilities

• 24-bed ER unit with a 4-recliner flex area
• Level III Trauma Center
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Some weekend and holiday shifts required
• Uses PICIS and Soarian Clinicals EMR systems
• Provide emergency care across a range of acute and critical patient presentations
• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by facility
• Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility may be considered at a local rate
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable pre-start training modules required via HealthStream
