Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a dayshift position in Nevada with an active NV RN license and prior travel nursing experience. You will work in the ER, 7:00–19:30 shifts, on a 13-week contract, with Epic EMR and orientation/training provided.

A minimum of two major holidays is required, and candidates must live more than 60 miles away. Benefits include high pay and bonuses, medical/dental/vision insurance starting Day 1, a housing allowance, travel and licensure

Qualifications

• Active NV RN license required.
• AHA certifications required.
• CPI certification required for Behavioral/Psych patients.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the ER specialty required.
• Minimum of one recent 13-week travel assignment within the past year required prior to consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room department of a hospital setting.
• Dayshift schedule from 0700-1930.
• 13-week assignment length.
• No blocked scheduling allowed.
• EPIC EMR charting used, with training provided during orientation or option to test out.
• Minimum of 2 major holidays coverage required.
• Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract before being eligible again.
• Requested time off must be listed at time of consideration, as it will not be added to the end of the contract.
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
