Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse in Colorado. The position requires a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience. Night shifts are 12 hours, three days per week, with possible cross-department float.

Qualifications

  • ACLS/NRP/PALS certification as appropriate for unit.
  • TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting.
  • 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week.
  • May float to other departments within scope of competency.
  • May be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
  • Epic EMR used for charting.
  • Perform independent nursing functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including health teaching and counseling.
  • Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
  • Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
  • Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
