Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role in California. The position requires CA RN licensure and EPIC experience, with a BSN preferred.

You will work in a high-energy acute care setting, hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications; HLFS certification is required. Minimum 3 years in ER within the last 3 months.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• HLFS certification required
• Minimum 3 years ER experience in the last 3 months
• BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 36 or 48 hours per week, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
• EPIC experience required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned ED patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care
• Participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
• Requests for more than 5 days of RTO will not be approved
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel rates
