American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a night shift position in California. Requirements include active CA RN license, CPI Blue Card, and Epic EMR experience.

The RN will work non-trauma ED cases, 3x12 shifts (18:00–06:30) for a 13-week assignment, with travel housing and licensure support. Prior travel nursing and ER experience preferred; pediatric/psychiatric/trauma care exposure is valued.

Competenze

• Active CA RN license in-hand at time of application.
• Current certifications required in-hand: ACLS, BLS, CPI Blue Card (MAB or online CPI not accepted), NIHSS, PALS.

Mansioni

• Non-trauma Emergency Department setting.
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 18:00-06:30.
• 13-week assignment.
• Epic EMR used, experience required and must be noted in work history.
• Provide emergency care across a wide range of patient conditions including pediatric, psychiatric, respiratory, and trauma cases.
• Perform triage, cardiac monitoring, splinting, and isolation precautions as needed.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Requirements

• Active CA RN license in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current certifications required in-hand: ACLS, BLS, CPI Blue Card (MAB or online CPI not accepted), NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience with pediatric, psychiatric, respiratory, neurological, and trauma/shock emergency care
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, 12-lead EKG/ECG, and triage
• Experience with IV therapy, blood product administration, and emergency medication administration
• Two supervisor references required for consideration
