American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ER RN for an assignment at a Level 4 trauma center, requiring 24+ months of ER experience and active TNCC certification. You will use Epic EMR, manage critical meds, and float across campuses as needed.

Shifts include 12-hour blocks on Fri–Sun (varied 1200–0000 or 1900–0700), with weekend work and no on-call requirements. Travel eligibility applies for those living more than 50 miles; housing allowance and travel reimbursement are provided.

Formación

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact)
• Minimum 24 months ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Competency) certification required
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Experience with critical and emergency medication administration (pressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation)
• Experience with BiPAP and ventilator management required
• Experience with cardiac monitors and IV pumps required
• CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA certification highly preferred; non-certified candidates may obtain during onboarding
• Work history with all gaps over 30 days explained
• Skills checklist specific to ER specialty required
• One supervisory reference completed within the last 24 months required
• License verification less than 30 days old required
• Valid driver's license required

Responsabilidades

• Emergency Department setting at a Level 4 trauma center
• Varied shifts worked Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, either 1200-0000 or 1900-0700 depending on staffing needs
• Weekend work required as scheduled
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing and able to float across campuses (Rock Island, Moline, Bettendorf) when scheduled
• Uses Epic EMR
• Uses cardiac monitors, IV pumps, BiPAP, and ventilators
• Administers critical and emergency medications including pressors, antiarrhythmics, and sedation
• Provide emergency care across a range of critical and acute patient presentations
• Required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) unless the unit is closed
• First-time travelers welcomed with at least 24 months of ER experience
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from working travel assignments in another market within 12 months of separation
