Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Montana. The role requires a Montana or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience, with Epic charting used for documentation.

Shifts are 12 hours, nights, 3 days per week (36 hours). The assignment may include float to other departments and on-call duties as needed. BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Montana or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit.
• ASN required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital.
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week).
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation.
• May be required to float to other departments based on competency and business need.
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for ED patients.
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed.
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promotes facility mission, vision, and values, and abides by service behavior standards.
• Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment.
