Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Indiana, requiring 2+ years of ED nursing and travel experience. The role supports adult and pediatric patients, with night shifts and potential travel pairing.

Licensure in Indiana or Compact and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required. Staff will work across Marion and Gas City locations, using Meditech, with a 13-week assignment and flexible scheduling for travel pairs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (NIHSS and TNCC preferred)

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department care for adult/pediatric patients
• Work at Marion and Gas City locations
• 13-week night shift (4x12 hours)
• Travel pairs accepted with flexible scheduling
• Provide emergency care across trauma, cardiac, neuro, psych
• Accepts local candidates at traveler rate
• Past facility employees not considered for travel role
• First-time travelers not considered

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and prior travel experience.

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (NIHSS and TNCC preferred)
• Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central line care, care of ventilated patients, emergency medications, and management of psychiatric/behavioral emergencies
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, triage, and orthopedic splinting preferred
• Reference required within the last 12 months from a direct supervisor

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting providing care to a combined adult/pediatric patient population
• May be required to work at both Marion and Gas City locations
• 13-week assignment on night shift (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Travel pairs accepted but must have flexible scheduling
• Utilizes Meditech charting system (preferred experience)
• Provide emergency care across adult and pediatric populations, including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and psychiatric cases
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travelers
• Previous employees who worked in a permanent role at this facility will not be considered for this travel position
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
