American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a 171-bed community hospital in Arizona. Candidates must hold an AZ or Compact RN license, BLS and TNCC, and AHA certifications, with at least 2 years in ED and trauma/STEMI experience.

The role supports a Level 3 Trauma Center and Chest Pain Center, serves geriatric to pediatric patients, and operates with MedHost EDIS. Night shifts, weekend rotation, and travel/local rate options apply.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care in a 24-bed ED of a 171-bed hospital and regional center.
• Work in a Level 3 Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center.
• Care for geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patients with mixed acuity.
• Maintain a 1:4 patient-nurse ratio.
• Operate with MedHost EDIS for charting.
• Night shift: 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend.
• May float within a 25-mile radius.
• Provide emergency nursing care across mixed patient populations.
• Be an approachable team player who takes initiative.
• Black scrubs required; weekly orientation offered.
• Travel rate applicable for 60+ mile candidates; local rate for closer candidates.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at LifePoint within last 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time.

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required

• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24-bed Emergency Room within a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
• Level 3 Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Geriatric, adult, and some pediatric patient population with mixed medical cases and varying acuity
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Equipment includes ultrasound, Bellmont Transfuser, Baxter IV pumps, Glidescope, BD IV products, and GE monitors in every room
• Uses MedHost EDIS for charting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
• Provide emergency nursing care across a mixed patient population with varying acuity levels
• Approachable team player who takes initiative and assists colleagues during idle time
• Black scrubs required
• Weekly orientation offered
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local rate available for closer candidates
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
