Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Washington. Requires WA- or compact-license, ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC, and 2+ years ED experience. Housing allowance, travel reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Shifts are 12 hours (12:00–00:00) with every-other-weekend duty, no on-call, and a 25-bed ED in a teaching hospital. Paragon EHR is used; scrubs may be worn in any color.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (WA or compact)
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC certifications
• Minimum 2 years ED experience
• SSN and date of birth required
• Active Nursys licensure verification at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 25-bed ED within a 111-bed teaching hospital
• Care for geriatric, adult and pediatric patients
• Maintain patient ratio of 4:1
• 12-hour shifts from 12pm to 12am
• Work every other weekend (2 weekends/month)
• No call requirements
• Utilize Paragon EHR
• Scrubs of any color allowed
• Must reside >60 miles from facility for travel rate eligibility
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Active RN license (WA or compact) required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 25-bed Emergency Department within a 111-bed teaching hospital
• Patient population includes all ages: geriatric, adult, and pediatric
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• 12-hour shifts from 12pm to 12am
• Every other weekend required, totaling 2 weekends a month
• No call requirements
• Uses Paragon EHR
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
