Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Services role in Arizona with a 13-week assignment in an acute care hospital.

The ideal candidate holds AZ or Compact RN licensure, TNCC, and multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS) with a minimum of two years of experience. A driver’s license copy and two professional references are required.

Qualifications

• Active AZ or Compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS (AHA only).
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in the Emergency Services department of an acute care hospital.
• Evening shift schedule with every other weekend required.
• 12-hour shifts with mid-shift scheduling.
• First to float among staff.
• 2 on-call shifts required per 28-day schedule.
• Uses Cerner EMR.
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
• Provide emergency nursing care within an acute care hospital setting.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.
