Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Emergency Department position in Farmington, NM. Requires 2 years ED experience and NM or Compact RN licensure. Night shifts from 7P to 7A with Level III trauma center support and a 48-bed ED.

Responsibilities include team nursing, compact care in ED, and care for ESRD, COPD, psychiatric patients with access to advanced equipment and Cerner EMR. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NM or Compact)
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications
• Minimum 2 years RN experience, ED experience preferred
• ADN degree required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation
• Experience treating ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychiatric disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal and chest pain

Responsibilities

• ER department is Level III trauma center with 48 beds and flex space
• Team nursing and pod system with social worker and educator support
• Patient ratios 4:1 in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
• Care for ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD and psychiatric patients
• Utilizes Cerner EMR and devices (Zoll, blood warmers, IV tools, POC analyzers)
• Night shift schedule from 7P to 7A; minimum two weekends per schedule
• No call and no floating; provide ED care in a Level I–III trauma center via air transport
• Hospital offers childbirth, cancer, nephrology, pediatric and behavioral health services

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with 2 years ED experience preferred
• ADN required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required
• Experience treating common diagnoses including ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain

Responsibilities

• Level III trauma center emergency department with 48 beds plus flex space
• Team nursing and pod system with social worker and unit educator support
• Patient ratios of 4:1 in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
• Patient population includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric patients
• Equipment used includes Zoll defibrillator, Level One blood transfuser, QinFlow blood warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and iStat POC, and ultrasound guided IV
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7P to 7A
• Minimum of two weekends per schedule required
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Provide emergency care within a Level III trauma center that receives Level I, II, and III trauma cases by air transport
• Facility offers additional services including childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, and inpatient behavioral health unit
