Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week contract in Texas requiring TNCC, ENPC or PALS and at least 1 year of ED experience.

The role features a 23-bed ED, 4:1 patient ratio, and shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with 4 weekend shifts. A level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Center, no on-call, and travel housing/licensure reimbursements are included.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Current ALS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required.
• 2+ years of ED experience preferred.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration; no Canadian SSN accepted.
• One professional reference required.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• 23-bed Emergency Department with ~40 staff.
• Day and night shift staffing; 4 weekend shifts per schedule; patient ratio 4:1.
• Uses Welch Allyn/GE equipment and Meditech EMR.
• Performs cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation procedures.
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; no on-call requirements.
• Level IV Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
• Navy blue scrubs; team-oriented culture; Clinical Nurse Coordinators support staff.

• Uses Welch Allyn/GE equipment and Meditech EMR
• Performs procedures including cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation
• Shift schedule is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 4 weekend shifts per schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• Level IV Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
