American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Travel Emergency Department assignment in Virginia. The role requires 2+ years of ER/trauma experience and AHA certifications ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI/HWC.

The RN must hold an active VA or Compact license and be verifiable via Nursys. Night shifts run 7pm–7am with weekend rotations; housing and travel benefits are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, CPI/HWC (all AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ER/trauma and critical care experience required.
• Licensure must be active and verifiable via Nursys at time of consideration.

Aufgaben

• Work in a 13-bed Emergency Department serving all patient ages.
• Patient ratios of 1-4.
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a.
• Rotating/every other weekend requirement.
• Occasional floating to the ICU.
• Manage common diagnoses including sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma cases.
• Reports to the Emergency Department Director.
• Scrub color requirement is blue or black.

Requirements

• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI/HWC (all AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ER/trauma and critical care experience required
• Licensure must be active and verifiable via Nursys at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in a 13-bed Emergency Department serving all patient ages
• Patient ratios of 1-4
• Uses standard ED equipment and Paragon EHR
• Night shift schedule from 7p-7a
• Rotating/every other weekend requirement
• Occasional floating to the ICU
• Manage common diagnoses including sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma cases
• Reports to the Emergency Department Director
• Scrub color requirement is blue or black, casual wear not acceptable
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
